Although the resort was only ten minutes from "town," the setting was rustic, and really very beautiful. Whoever who designed the resort made the best of what little rusticness (rusticality?) they had, so that, for example, we had a lovely view of a wooded slope, and were unaware of the major road that passed by at the foot of the slope.

These are just some of the views: The walk from the parking lot to our front door, as seen through the kitchen window, and two views from our balcony. They look better if you click on them to see the bigger version.

In the view of the pool (which is partly filled with snow -- a funny sight to us Floridians), notice the white rectangle attached to the fence, next to the gate, behind the four half-barrels. That white rectangle is a sign. A useful sign, especially in December. There's a close-up of that sign at the bottom of this page.
