St John
Maho Bay

Some Came Prepared
We saw most of the beaches only from a distance, and only had a chance to shoot pictures. But we did stop and get out at Maho Bay, and had a chance to put our feet in the water. We weren't expecting this, but, apparently, some others were. As you can see, these people came prepared....

French Ladies
These French ladies just hiked up their skirts and waded in. Don't they look... so... continental? <g>

Vietnamese Family
In our tour "truck" we had a family visiting from Vietnam. As an American, Vietnamese tourists give me a funny feeling. I mean, in my lifetime we fought a vicious war with them. (Judi's father served 18 months in Vietnam, and died from exposure to Agent Orange.) Now they're here as tourists -- spending money, buying souveniers, seeing what America is like. Well, Disney anyway, if not America <g>.

I guess if they can get over it, we should, too.

This little family of tourists was a young mother and father, with two small toddlers. In this picture, they're shooting a digital video of their kids on the beach. The kids were cute!
