Of all the bars and lounges on the Norway, my personal favorite was the International Lounge. Located on the International Deck, it spanned the width of the ship from port to starboard. The high ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows gave it a spacious feel. The comfortable chairs and low tables made it more like a living room than a lounge. At either side, you could watch the people in the passageway outside. Or you could climb a few steps to the center section, where a Jazz ensemble played in the evenings. It wasn't exciting or high-energy. It was relaxing and soothing. Am I getting old? |
